This is the breakout board for the Maxim MAX9812 microphone amplifier, that delivers a fixed 20dB gain to your audio projects. The board comes with an omni-directional electret microphone (Kobitone 254-ECM970-RO) soldered in.
The board is very straight forward to use. You only have to connect an analog input of your microcontroller to the OUT pin, plus 3.3V VCC and GND (the board works from 2.7V up to 3.3V).
Breadboard friendly with 1″ (2.54mm) spaced pins, and there are also two mounting holes to embed the breakout board into your already working project.
The board comes fully assembled and tested.
Note: as of 13/01/2016, the board comes with a Kobitone 254-ECM970-RO microphone, with the same characteristics of the previous mic, the pui-audio AOM-6742P-2-R.
