Now also shipping with DHL Express

We have added a faster, tracked and insured way to get your Artekit parts. From Tuesday 27th January Artekit starts shipping with DHL Express.

We never had any problems with our standard courier (Poste Italiane) but we think we should give more shipping options. And yes, DHL is more expensive than Poste Italiane but you’ll get a tracking number and insurance for your package.

Using this new shipping method is easy. At the checkout page you can select the best rate that fits your needs. While you type your billing and/or shipping information, down below the page will start loading the shipping rates, where available.

Then select the shipping type and rate.

There are basically three options for Italy and European Union countries, and one option for the rest of the world.

For Italy we have:

• DHL DOMESTIC EXPRESS 9:00: Time-critical: delivery on the next possible day by 9:00 a.m. You can choose this service by selecting DomesticExpress900.
• DHL DOMESTIC EXPRESS 12:00: Time-critical: delivery on the next possible day by 12:00 noon. You can choose this service by selecting DomesticExpress1200.
• DHL DOMESTIC EXPRESS Time-sensitive: delivery by end of next possible day. You can choose this service by selecting DomesticExpress.

For European Union countries:

• DHL EXPRESS 9:00: Time-critical: delivery on the next possible day by 9:00 a.m. You can choose this service by selecting Express900.
• DHL EXPRESS 12:00: Time-critical: delivery on the next possible day by 12:00 noon. You can choose this service by selecting Express1200.
• DHL EXPRESS WORLDWIDE: Time-sensitive: delivery by end of next possible day. You can choose this service by selecting ExpressWorldwideECX.

For the rest of the world:

• DHL EXPRESS WORLDWIDE: Time-sensitive: delivery by end of next possible day. You can choose this service by selecting ExpressWorldwideNonDOC.

The information here above was taken directly from the DHL website and estimated times are relative to the day of the postage. That is, they are not relative to the day of the order. And as with Poste Italiane, there may be custom fees that you may have to pay to the DHL guy when the package arrives.

When the package is posted you will receive the usual “Your order was shipped” e-mail, but this time it will include a link to the DHL tracking page.
